Quorum Announces Release of XSELLERATOR(TM) Version 4.74

CALGARY, ALBERTA–(Marketwire – Sept. 13, 2012) – Quorum Information Technologies (TSX VENTURE:QIS) (Quorum) announced today that its updated version 4.74 of its dealership and customer management system XSELLERATOR™ is now in general release and deployed to all of Quorum's dealerships in Canada and the United States. This highly anticipated update previewed at the National Automotive Dealers Association (NADA) Convention 2012 in Las Vegas, contains a number significant enhancements including two major components designed to significantly increase dealership efficiencies and productivity: Console and Communicator.

Quorum's Console is an interactive and customizable workspace that is designed to be a homepage for users while working in XSELLERATOR. The Console features general productivity tools such as easy to use Internet access mini-applications like Google Searches, RSS feeds and weather as well as desktop references like a clock, calendar and calculator. In addition to these general tools, the workspace also includes a number of quick-access tools for the DMS such as customer look-up, report links, status monitors (example: waiters in service) and performance monitoring, complete with graphical views. Many are near real-time indicators refreshed automatically to show the latest information. Quorum calls this collection of mini-applications “Quidgets.” Twenty-five Quidgets are already available within the Console with plans for many more.

Communicator is embedded functionality within Quorum's XSELLERATOR DMS that utilizes Microsoft's Lync messaging technology. With Lync at the core, Quorum's team built extensions to handle 2-way communication via a mixture of email and mobile texting and attaches the entire dialogue with the transaction in which it is associated. As an example, a customer may indicate that they prefer to receive a text when their vehicle is ready for pick up in service. The service advisor notes that preference with a couple of clicks, and at the completion of the final case on the repair order, a text message is automatically sent to the customer. Uniquely to Quorum, the customer can reply and the advisor can reply to that (to schedule a shuttle pick-up, for instance). All of the messages are stored with the customer's repair order forever. Communicator can facilitate ad-hoc messaging with customers and employees as well as automated event-based messages.

Brent Kennedy of Edward's Garage in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, says his first experience with Communicator's automatic text functionality was nothing short of remarkable. “The automatic text went out to our customer as the repair order was completed in XSELLERATOR. Our customer happened to be leaving Tim Horton's down the street with a friend, received the text message, and had their friend drop them off at the dealership. The customer was here to pick up their vehicle in under two minutes after the text was sent. We were all amazed at how quickly this happened, except for our customer. That's when we realized our customers expect this technology, which is why it is important for us to partner with Quorum, a company that understands how to help us meet customers' expectations.”

“In today's fast paced environment, dealership technology users require all of the tools they need to be available right in their dealership management system. Quick, automated communication and information must be readily available to them so that they are able to deliver the level of service consumers require today,” states Maury Marks, Quorum's President and CEO. “This software release is an indicator of our direction for XSellerator – a focus on capabilities that enable our dealerships to better serve their customers and while increasing their own revenues.”
