Quorum Adds Innovative Console to XSELLERATOR (TM)

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA–(Marketwire – Feb. 3, 2012) – Quorum Information Technologies Inc. (Quorum) (TSX VENTURE:QIS) announced today that its dealership and customer management system, XSellerator™ now features a brand new customizable “workspace” as its “home screen” for the DMS that is called the “Console.”

The Console workspace features a cadre of general productivity tools such as easy to use Internet access mini-applications like Google Searches, RSS feeds and weather as well as handy desktop references like a clock, calendar and calculator. In addition to these general tools, the workspace also includes a number of quick-access tools for the DMS such as customer look-up, report links, status monitors (like waiters in service) and performance monitoring, complete with graphical views. Many are near real-time indicators refreshed automatically to show the latest information. Quorum calls this collection of mini-applications “Quidgets.”

The Console allows each employee that uses the system to customize their own workspace with the Quidgets that they want to see. They simply select the Quidget from a catalogue and place it on their desktop. It can be changed at any time. When they log in again, their Console is just how they left it.

The new functionality has been undergoing rigorous performance and usability testing with several of Quorum's dealership customers and is being released with the latest version of XSellerator to all Quorum customers.

Tim Davis, Dealer Principal at Davis Buick GMC Truck remarked, “Leave it to Quorum to come up with something so unique. I've seen other products with 'dashboards' and the like, but Quorum has taken it to a new level of usefulness. Not only are the little 'Quidgets,' as they call them, powerful tools themselves, but the immediate and up-to-date information that I want to watch today is right in front of me. And, the neat thing is that I can change it and keep an eye on something else tomorrow. Plus, the other Quidgets that let me access common functions quickly speed up day to day tasks for my employees across the whole dealership. I can't wait to see the new Quidgets that they come up with down the road… I've even suggested some myself!”

Dan Ichelson, Quorum's VP of Operations and Development described how the Console was conceived, “Because XSellerator is a pure Windows application, when you start it up in the morning, you see a big blank window because you haven't begun a task yet. We looked at that empty 'canvas' and thought about how we could fill it with something beneficial to the people that use our software every day. What we realized right away was that the things that could really add value and create efficiencies were quick ways to get to specific tasks or information in the system without having to navigate to certain screens, transactions and reports inside XSellerator. What also was rapidly evident was that the set of these quick functions that were of the most use varied from person to person and job to job at the dealership. So, instead of building a static dashboard, we created a desktop architecture that was customizable and secure at the user level. We then developed the library of 'Quidgets' and gave the user the ability to set-up and change their workspace at will.”

Mark Allen, Quorum's VP of Sales, Marketing and Services commented, “The Console is one of those things that will take on a life of its own. While Quorum created the foundation and the initial catalogue of Quidgets, there will be lots more coming in the future and most of them will come from the ideas that our customers bring to us. The possible combinations of how a dealership can take advantage of something like this is nearly limitless. Plus, it looks really cool! The initial full version of the Console will be shown 'to the public' for the first time in our booth at the NADA conference in Las Vegas this year (Booth #3410). Come take a look.”
