Quorum First to Offer GM's New Delivery Reporting Integration to North American Dealerships

CALGARY, ALBERTA–(Marketwire – May 26, 2009) – Quorum Information Technologies Inc. (Quorum) (TSX VENTURE:QIS) announced today that it has recently passed certification testing for the new Customer Delivery Reporting (CDR) integration with General Motors (GM). GM has implemented this integration in replacement of the previous CDR interface in the U.S. and the previous Canadian version known as VDR (Vehicle Delivery Reporting). Developed under the GM IDMS program, Quorum is the first Dealership Management System (DMS) supplier to be certified. Pilot testing began the third week of April 2009 and deployment to Quorum's GM customers in Canada began in May 2009 and is planned to begin in the U.S. in June 2009.

CDR provides GM dealerships with the ability to submit a delivery report directly from the vehicle sales area of XSELLERATORTM, Quorum's state of the art DMS, without needing to re-key the delivery information. This is a big time-saver for dealerships, and reduces the potential for error. All delivery types are included in the new integration and the vehicle and customer information populates automatically.

Under the GM IDMS agreement, GM and Quorum work together to bring value-added integration between the auto manufacturer and the systems that GM dealers use. Each integration point further optimizes the channel by improving efficiency and increasing customer responsiveness at the dealership level.

“Quorum continues to be the leader in high-value integration for GM dealerships in North America. This is a great example of living up to our slogan of providing a dealership management system that automates, integrates and streamlines a dealership's operation. This one certainly saves a huge amount of time while increasing accuracy. Quorum is proud to have been the lead DMS supplier for General Motors for this new integration,” said Dan Ichelson, Quorum's Vice President Operations and Development.
